Transitional Housing Program
Transitional Housing is a residential program that offers residents an alternative to traditional tenant living. Transitional units are designed to provide “general rehabilitative support” and support to individuals residing in the program. This program is one year in duration; the program has 24-hour staff support is available on-site.
Intended Purpose of the Transitional Supportive Housing Program
To assist residents in gaining autonomy in a recovery-orientated, safe environment. This program is designed for individuals who:
- Require recovery-based support and services
- Have developed a Support Action Plan (SAP) with a Case Manager
- Committed to be supported in a supervised structured program
- Committed to be supported through individualized tailored identified supports i.e. drug, alcohol, mental health counsellors etc.
- Are motivated and ready to access support and community services:
